Secure the Perimeter™ Lighting System

The “Secure the Perimeter” system utilizes colored light bars above every exterior door on the campus.  Light bars on the inside and outside of the doors are used to display the STATUS of each door (Open or Closed). This allows administrators, teachers, and students to all do their part to make sure exterior doors remain shut and locked throughout the school day.

Operation

  • The light bar above door flashes blue when left open for 10-seconds

  • System is programmed to send notifications to select administrators if left open for 2-minutes, or more

  • The light bar turns off immediately when door is closed
